I’m Brooke Kelly, founder and owner of Preceptor Services. Here, education goes beyond grades—it’s about supporting the whole student. I’m excited to share my journey, grounded in a lifelong passion for helping students achieve academic success while thriving personally and reaching their personal and career goals.

I’m not only a mentor, college admissions advisor, and certified tutor—I’m also a dedicated educator who guides students as they navigate their most challenging moments and celebrate their greatest achievements. My journey and previous professional experiences have equipped me with a unique blend of academic expertise, mental health counseling skills, and real-world knowledge that fuels my passion for transforming lives for students of all ages and abilities.
Educational Foundation & Honors
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Sacred Heart University, where I embraced both scientific rigor and compassionate practice. My academic journey has been marked by distinctions, including the National Society of Leadership and Success Award, consistent Dean’s List, Honors, and recognition as an All-American Scholar. These accolades reflect my relentless pursuit of excellence and my commitment to lifelong learning.

Professional Experience & Mental Health Advocacy
My professional path has been equally diverse and enriching. As a Recovery Coach at Monte Nido Affiliates, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of consistent support, therapeutic intervention, and compassionate care. I helped foster healing environments that nurture growth, resilience, and healthy interpersonal relationships. This deeply meaningful work enhanced my empathy and sharpened my ability to meet individuals exactly where they are on their journeys.

Academic Tutoring & Mentoring
As a certified Honors and AP course tutor within Wilton Public Schools, I specialize in delivering tailored academic support that helps students not only grasp challenging content but also develop executive functioning skills critical to lifelong success. My tutoring approach goes beyond worksheets—I inspire ownership of learning, creativity, and confidence, empowering students to become self-directed learners ready to face academic and life challenges with resilience. My experience as a Special Education Assistant Teacher further informs my approach, allowing me to customize learning strategies for students with diverse cognitive and emotional needs. I am also proud to have developed and led the Hope Squad Suicide Prevention Program at Wilton High School, a peer-driven initiative that fosters safety, support, and community well-being.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy & Emotional Wellness
In addition to academic expertise, I am a certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Practitioner. This training equips me to incorporate mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance techniques into mentoring and tutoring sessions—helping students manage stress, maintain focus, and build emotional resilience.

College Admissions & Advising
My role as Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment at Sacred Heart University gave me insider insight into college admissions processes and strategic advising. I partnered with academic leaders and guided students through application procedures, crafting personalized plans aligned with their academic and career aspirations. This experience enriches the college advising services I offer at Preceptor Services, supporting students in creating compelling applications and confidently navigating their futures.
